Singrai Soren is an Indian music director, singer, lyricst and sound designer. He is a renowned artist in the world of Santhali music. Besides Santhali music he has been working with Bengali and Hindi music as well. He works in western music, Indian classical music and santhali traditional music. The famous director and composers like R. D. Burman, A.R. Rahman and Yani inspired him a lot. He likes to listen the songs of the legends i.e. Kana Kanuram, Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and Michael Jackson.

Early Life
Singari Soren was born on 1 st December 1978 (School Certificate on 21/02/1978 ) in the village of Sukilakhali (Rohargada) in Mayurbhanj district in the state of Odisha. Later he came to Kolkata with his parents for a job. His father , Chandra Mohan Soren, was a serviceman. His mother Dumni Soren was a violinist (first Santhali) and a well-known
folk artist. Soren occasionally assisted his mother by playing the harmonium and the keyboard on stage. Soren started playing harmonium at the age of six. He was their first child. His sister is Basanti Hembram (Soren) and a brother is Rimil soren. Soren has a daughter Digeer Soren (child artist). Soren plays a major role in modernizing Santhali music. He inspired from Pt. Raghunath Murmu. He likes to use music to help improve the Santali community.
